HAPPY NEW YEAR

Our President Nasheed has given us a really fine boost and we can expect things to happen this NEW YEAR. I already smell the freshness of freedom in the air, in Male that was not there before. Freedom, Liberalism and success beckon us, and its up to us to grab the opportunity, fast.

The Young, Educated and Progressive youth of this country did the impossible. We decapitated "the regime of 30 years". We now have to deal with another more formidable foe – the bearded Talibs and the Ninja’s. Once we pack them off to the Saudi dessert WE CAN AND WOULD BE TRULY FREE.

These poor dogmatic innocents that frequent the blog "Maldivians For Islam" like the likes of Yasmine, Thakuru, Yusuf, and all those cut and paste artists are in delusion. There is nobody in Maldives who is interested in their brand of crap anymore. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND WE WANT OUR SPACE. NOW!!!!!!!!!

We ALL want a decent standard of living, not as a handout but as our due for work well done. The Government has to provide the means of achieving these goals by investing in education, training, career counseling, investing in health, transport, enhancing fishing, exploring modern agriculture, leisure, creating the atmosphere for attracting foreign investment and of course boosting productivity.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so opportunities for just chilling out in a disco, night club, casino or just eat out without fear of some idiots blowing your head Off should fast become a reality in our paradise islands. We have worked hard for our democracy so now individual freedoms without any hindrance must follow.

Individual freedoms means the FREEDOM TO CHOOSE - What we eat, what we drink, what we do, when we do, what we say, when we say, what we worship, how we worship. Its obvious that the only limit being transgressing into someone else’s space.

To Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom! That’s the toast for this promising NEW YEAR’S DAY.

People With A Mile Long Smile, Free Love & Only A Bicycle Tax.

That’s the type of fare pedalled by religionists. This was taken from the blog “Maldivians for Islam”

This was a very poor attempt to use Freudian terminology to give credibility to musings of the author – by association. Observe the author’s suggestions here ……..

1. A man is chosen
2. He resists being chosen
3. Then his will is broken.
4. His personality is completely changed to Gods dictates.
5. Later the author asserts that he remains a man.

On what basis are these "wild" suggestions being made? No indications as to what the authority or source is – NOT ONE is given. Religious apologists have this in common, they make catchy unsubstantiated statements designed to catch the eye and designed to potentially mislead people who are gullible.

If you observe the above said blog there are over 125 posts, in comments to the main post. Not one person questions Jasmine the author, about the above. They all either swallow what’s said without thinking or just pretend that there is nothing wrong in what she says. In either case all are collectively guilty in propagating a myth. This reminds me of the DREAM MERCHANTS. :-)

In effect, the choices open for a person’s life are very simple. Either ...........

To lead one’s life, as one thinks is best, according to his intuitive human nature. Here a person leads his life on the principle of not doing harm to anyone, on the basis of mutual respect, mutual love and mutual fair play. In this we can be guided by universal values of good and bad. The limiting factor is the law of the land based on the standards of a majority of average adult free thinking sane human beings.

OR..

To lead a person’s life according to some hocus-pocus concocted by religionists – seen down the ages as an elite clergy class with supposedly unique connections to the supernatural. This elite clergy can take the mask of Buddhist monks, Hindoo sadhu’s or some Rishi, Taoist monks, Incas monks, Christian church, Jewish Sanhedrin, Islamic Mullahs.

Life has always been a monumental struggle everywhere because of limited resources and unlimited desires. This naturally makes everything very hard, for a great majority of the people. This makes fertile grounds for the breeding of a class of human beings that feed on the sorrows of other human beings. In Darwinian terminology it’s called the survival of the fittest.

It’s in this backdrop, human ingenuity pushes a certain type of people to prey on other human beings. They prey on their meagre individual land, their meagre individual wealth and their individual precarious well-being. Down the ages this select type of people have resorted to the supernatural. This is best seen in some tribes of Africa in the form of the local black-magic don.

The real name of the game is the exploitation of the masses for the benefit of a few. In short the drive is to misappropriate the wealth of the masses from the many to a select few. The select few in the past were the religious elite. They manipulated the fears of a people, to steal, loot and ultimately enslave the masses.

Today the select few are the faceless ogres behind the CAPITALISTIC INTERESTS (Multinationals and budding multinationals) that spread its cancerous influence throughout the world behind the mask of liberalism and democracy. These are the new high priests of the religion democracy. This is the new face of the age-old monster that lived only to enslave human beings.

They lie, they play on peoples fears, manipulate the discontent amongst and between people, all with one object in mind – to turn people into tools of production, that enriches them and means of propagating their INTERESTS. Their face and hand, you do not see. What you see are puppet politicians, with their unbridled lust for money and power, themselves caught up in the web slung by their behind the scene handlers.

Maldives due to its perceived lack of resources was spared the nefarious interests of these malignant types. In the not too distant past we were a people happy in our isolation and “hardships”. We were a people with a mile long smile on our lips, and a people with free love and only a bicycle tax. Unheard were drug offences and addicts, unheard were houses kept under lock and key. What bliss! A nation of contented innocents, without a change of clothing and only 3 whole meals in 2 full days. :-)

Then we did not have these masters and PhD types, whose one distinction is that they use paper to wipe their Asses, instead of washing with soap and water and an uncanny eagle's eye on the wallets of those around them - disguised by donning the cloak of altruism and knowledge. This they pedal as DEVELOPMENT. You recognize them with their piercing, staring fixed gaze and forked tongue like that guru-Saab from down under. The true corruptors of the down to earth, child-like Maldivian ethos.

Today we are faced with the scenario that there are perceived mega bugs on offer. So the high priests of liberal democracy and other like-minded vulture like Dracula’s under the guise of neo-Talibanists are threatening to suck the Maldivians dry of yet unformed blood in its emaciated body.

In the name of progress we have regressed into the world of Western style savagery and debauchery where money is the start and end of everything. Drugs and booze are the order of the day. The once fiercely independent people of Maldives where free love and let live attitude was the order of the day is being transformed into prostitutes and APES that derive all their pleasure aping the WEST.

The high priests of the new occult religion of liberal democracy are the occultists synonymous with "politicians with the most forked tongue with the greatest gift of the gab". The father of all this is no other than the President who carefully bled this nation dry of its resources and HOPE. In true Hypocrisy the baton was changed from one manipulator to the other- the common link between the two being the intention of fleecing the Maldivian nation of ALL HOPE and taking the one-way trip to even more Maldivian enslavement.

Oh! For the days when Maldives was free and close to nature. Living a life so simple that everyone’s door was open to friend and foe. The days when rice and fish soup was itself a luxury and when life ticked by in resonance with the sea gulls and bulbuls all frolicking in the mid-day sun.

Then there was no room in our lives for some bearded thug or a white man and his human poodle and their stench. A free life under the sun, moon and the stars and life with so much burdens that moulded us into human beings who cared for our neighbour and had time and our brand of love for our children. Maldives one with nature. Maldives that I love.

Can you fault me for hating the bearded thugs and the forked tongues of the priests of liberal democracy?
